Ania Bas blurs the edges of what art is and can be, and who produces it. Her work centres on ideas of collaboration and the outcome of her projects vary; from texting via mobile phones and setting up market stalls, to simply just sitting and talking.

Ania will continue the art of conversation in Walsall by sharing stories with visitors and staff alike over plenty of tea and cake. As part of her residency, she will create unique gallery tours which bypass the exhibits and the architecture to highlight the long-standing memories which resonate throughout the building.
