Work Placements
The New Art Gallery Walsall, welcomes applications for unpaid work experience and voluntary placements and offers a limited number of placements for those individuals studying at undergraduate degree level and above only.
We are able to take on school pupils at GCSE and A-level in the Art Library only. We can only accommodate one GCSE and one A-Level placement per year. These placement opportunities are allocated at a first come first served basis.
If you would like to apply for a voluntary work placement at The New Art Gallery Walsall, please fill in the application form by using the Word document below. Only applications made on this form will be considered. Please do not attach any additional information, other than letters of confirmation from schools.
The following skills are expected in all work placements:
· People skills
· Positive attitude
· Ability to accept direction and management
· Hands on approach
· IT literate
We can only acknowledge the receipt of application forms after an enquiry by email to the Work Experience email address below. The team will meet four times a year in March, June, September and December to consider applications for each forthcoming period of January - March, April - June, July - September and October - December.
All applications will receive a reply once a decision has been made.
